nice pics Whiffin!!!!

Notice to new installers - Please see that Whiffin has opted to use FLUX on his solder points (brown sludge on the LPC). You will find that this will make the job much easier!

I'm just doing an install now and I was wondering if I can solder the resistor in now while I got the motherboard out but leave the trace un-cut until I test if the modchip/xbox works.  Or will the Xbox not be able to start up with the resistor soldered in?  I don't think it will matter since the current will not even pass through the resistor until the trace is cut... Just wanted to make sure.

Thanks!
