Disable X2 Lite?

Can anyone help? Im running X2 lite (as the title suggests) the chip appears to be working fine and have installed evox dashboard. The problem is when I disable the chip the xbox is still trying to load the evox dashboard and this is giving me an error(red flashing light/take for service message etc). Could this be a bios problem or have I done something else incorrect? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to get back on xbox live

did u upgrade ur hdd? if so it needs to be lockable. just use evox auto installer 2.5 and click on lock hdd option or get urself a sweet ass xenium ice and the v2.0 os allows u to do it off chip,SWEET!!!!!!!!props 2 ozxo :beer: dus!

still using the original hdd, looking at evox ini at the mo and there is something about locking hdd. Do you know how to do this?

im pretty sure the easiest way 4 u to do it would be with slayers evox auto installer disc i believe its under disc management(on the main menu of disc)

If you need to lock your hd, then use ConfigMagic to lock it.

You are all wrong! :grr:
1. Never use slayers, it's crap.
2. How did you all come to the conclusion his HD is unlocked when he never replaced the original hd.
3. If you overwrited the xboxdash.xbe with evox then there's your problem.
You need to leave the original ms dashboard name (xboxdash.xbe)
and name the evox dashboard evoxdash.xbe

If that doesn't help, what error number do you get on the top left of the screen?
