I flashed M8_16 to bank 2 of my Xecuter 2.3B Lite+ and it booted fine afterwards. There was a green Evo-C Logo upon booting rather than Xecuter at the bottom so I know the flash was good. I thought M8_16 doesn't work on non-1.6?

there are two bios's FOR A REASON

DO NOT USE M8_16 on any console other than v1.6

it will boot - but it WILL fuck up your xbox in time - the SMBUS is different, the core timings are different.

If people choose to ignore this then do not cry when you have a nice shiny black expensive foot stand.

I'm not using M8_16 on that Xbox, I was just using it to flash the chip. I thought I'd boot up to confirm if the flash was successful and thought it was strange it booted.

That box has a flashed TSOP running Xecuter 4983.06
