The xbox only supports V1.1 transfer rates only. So you are going to be rather limited with usb tv devices that will work at a good speed. Most new usb tv devices are V2.0 but are usually backwards compatable but will be slower.
Take a look here for more details
http://www.xbox-linu...#USB_in_general
according to
THIS
I wouldn't be very limited, i just want to know if it would work or if someone has already tried this or has access to these sticks and can try it for free...i just don't want to waste a lot of money to find out that it can not be done...

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but aren't the Xbox 1 ports USB 1.0 not 1.1?
USB 1.0 is compatible with almost zilcho, nada, bubkis.
Also it is worth pointing out that USB 1.0 is slower than 1.1, not merely less compatible.

if the xbox only supports usb 1.0 then why do all those usb flash sticks work, why do keyboards and mice work? Why do cardreader work?
ergo It must support usb 1.1

I'm making a digital-tv xbox-linux distro myself. currently I'm wondering how to get a 720x576 interlaced picture (UK) as everything I've seen for 576 line resolutions gives a non interlaced resolution.
Any help?
so you have the xbox running a usb stick? and your problem is just the interlacing,. can you tell us about your distro , usb stick and software/programs etc. thanks
