"Installation Failed. Your dashboard partition may be corrupted."
^ Error I recieve on trying to run the "Restore Dashboard" File.
When I try to run the "Install Linux" file it tells me to run the "Restore Dashboard" File. When I try running the "Emergency Linux" file I get a screen with white code flashing all around. The led light on the front stays yellow, and I can't telnet into it.

I have the correct CD, files are correctly placed on my xbox, I do not know what could be wrong besides the dashboard version and I can't find a place that has the db image I need. I have spent around $50 and would really like this project to work. If anyone can successfully walk me through the steps to getting it to work, there may be a reward involved.
PS. I do not have a mod chip, and will not buy one. I do not plan on doing the hardware method if it will mean that I can't play my xbox games.
