Kaid On Xdsl Autostart On Boot
« on: January 19, 2006, 09:19:00 PM »

I run KAID 7004 on XDSL .5 and it works great. I laumch it by double clicking the executable file in the KAID folder, which is something I figured out on my own clicking things.   tongue.gif

I did a little searching, and found out that if I do a loopback install, I can edit /opt/user/localbootlocal.sh to add things to the startup. A thread I found on the teamxlink,co.uk page said that if I type sudo -u kaid /usr/local/bin/kaid -c /etc/kaid.conf & (edited to my settings which would be sudo -u kaid /mnt/had50/kaid/kaid -c /mnt/hda50/kaid/kaid.conf &).

But I wanna run it Frugal... is there way for me to change the filetool.lst to save /ramdisk/opt/bootlocal.sh

I just did a small loopback install (200 megs) anyway, figured what the hell Id try it.

 So if I edit my /opt/bootlocal.sh and add  " sudo -u kaid /mnt/had50/kaid/kaid -c /mnt/hda50/kaid/kaid.conf & "

would that work? (Im going to try right now, just asking in case someone sees it and knows its wrong.) tongue.gif
