hmm, strange, every version seem to work so far for me. How do you boot your XDSL? I've tried to boot from CD and HDD, and they both work. If you boot from HDD, you need to do a little configuration. All the details are on the XDSL page. hve you try XDSL before?

Ok, I have just tired this and everything seems to be working fine (I need to calibrate the sceen somehow) but I cannot move the mouse at all.  I am using the x2vga which is a vga adapter for the xbox and the video seems fine.  Well anyone know what is happening with the mouse not moving thing?

When I tried version .3 my xbox crashed and started to overheat. I knew this because the fan was going like crazy, so I unpluged it.  Oh ya for my previous post I wanted to add that my xbox is softmodded.

I suspect this may be due to issues XCromwell has running when the Dashboard is set run at 480p.
See this thread

I can confirm this - Friedgold already helped me with this. I found autolaunching didn't work, xbeboot didn't make any difference either. Booting from a 720p (UnleashX for me) dash makes it work. Didn't try a different dash @ 480p, and haven't tried the Gentoox loader yet either. It's not a xdsl bug, it's a Xromwell/Xbeboot bug.

Ok, I'll try launching from unleashX and see if that solves my problem.

I've finally been able to get and try 0.4, got it all going, but the digi cam still doesn't want to work, like in 0.3

I get /dev/sda1: not a valid block device (from memory).

lsmod shows usb-storage loaded. I'm back to that major-8 or whatever error at boot, and I suspect it's becuase of this:

update-rc.d mountall.sh defaults (or whatever the command is, it's not in front of me right now) to auto mount all drives listed as auto in fstab.

I think it's trying to automount the digicamera at boot, even though it's noauto in my fstab... how can I remove it trying to auto mount the camera at boot, to see if this fixes the issue?

Thanks.
