COnnects to Xbox through a hub, the I.P Assigned to my PC for this is 192.168.0.1 and the one that is assigned to my xbox is 192.168.0.2. Now thats the UIX dashboard, not linux.
When I Installed gentoox it asked me if I wanted to install FTP servers etc, and I chose yes to them all, on boot up it displays the IP address as 192.168.1.1 so I changed my PC IP to 192.168.1.2 and tried FTPing to my xbox, no love. I don't really care about FTP as its an annoying, slow protocol that should be abolished from the modding community (which is no longer going to be used in UIX v2:D). All I want to do is be able to access the net on my linux distro, are there any tutorials or can anyone please offer me some help with this?
