Gentoox, Xebian, Xdsl

So it seems to me that Xebian and Xdsl are the most mentioned distros on the forum.  Is this do to size of the install or what? I'm basicly just looking for something to run around the internet with. Since I dont have a laptop anymore and I travel a lot it would be nice to use the xbox for checking mail and surfing forums, so I dont have to use my PdaPhone and its small ass screen.

Think it might just be better to install a web browser like boXplorer and skip the whole linux deal or what?

...EDIT...
Well ok, so boXplorer is just a file explorer.....

gentoox is installing now. we'll see how it goes.

even if its not lightning fast, i could care less. Like I said above, I usually surf the web on my pdaphone. The speed isnt bad, but it doesnt process as fast as it needs to so the phone itself lags to hell. Even if i overclock it 50% higher than stock cpu speed.

Gentoox is the best with 128mb of ram ... if you have 64 maybe the speed could be a problem for you !!! But gentoox is the one i prefer in the 3 distro i'v etried (dynebolic, debian/xebian, gentoox)
