I have a problem installing XDSL:
When i start up using the livecd it goes okej, axcept when entering Cromwell i see a messaging saying: Fatx problem no MBR or somehting like that.
When booting up, it says Fatx_raw_scan_root and something like Fatx Panic.

Then trying to use frugal Install it says: Error: Cannot copy KNOPPIX image, cp:
cannot create regular file ' /mnt/hda50/KNOPPIX/KNOPPIX' : No such file or directory.

When using the loopbackfile installation, it copies everything perfectly to F:, but when I want to start it, there is no Cromwell  default.xbe
But i said i wanted that file to get copied.
So when i copy that file to my HD, I start it up( it says the same message as before) and i can only choose between DVD and Etherboot.

So what should i do you guys?

so...let me undestand.

delete all file of linux in e: and in f:

then delete all file in x: partiton

then turn off your console.

now turn on your console, put into the dvd-rom the dvd with linux dsl then make a loopback installation only in e:\

in f:\ it only create the "xdsf" file and no more...so even if you want to load it coping a default.xbe somewhere it doesnt works.

it is the only way

Hey, this may be too much to ask...

But could anyone hostthe actual CONTENTS of the ISO file somewhere?

Currently, my computer is screwed so I can't extrat the ISOs contents...

But I do have internet access on my Xbox.

Sadly, nothing on Xbox extracts ISO files. At all.

So if someone could find a way to get me a RAR or ZIP fiel with the ISO's contents in it that I could download onto my Xbox and install from there, I would really really appreciate it.

It sounds like X-DSL is having problems accessing E for some reason. What happens if you try to mount E from a X term using mount /dev/hda50? Are there any errors messages or does it mount ok? If it mounts ok then what if you try the installation again?
