I tryed Xdsl, so I could install Windows 95 and then play 11th hour.

however it was stratched on the screen (I beleive because I have a 1.6 box) so I stopped using it.

Its still on my hard disk though.

i use xebian, although i'm tempted to get rid of it as its really big, its slow and it doesn't always start when i tell it. might try the smaller one.

I first tried gentoox, but even on native install it was too slow for me.

I'm now running over xebian, native install over the extra 2go of the original Seagate drive. Run smootly, nicely and relatively fast.
I use linux to :
- Surf the net, amsn, irc chat
- Download some torrent, music, etc
- Burn DVD/cdrom with k3b
But with only 200mo remaining over my linux partition, and like 2go on my fatx one, i can't really exploit linux and the xbox to a maximum state.

I tried xdsl 0.1... yea it's damn quick and all but this i don't know... mouse scrool dont work for me, and i hate the read-only filesystem. So i'm sticking to xebian... I've also wanted to try gentoox pro, but i never got the motivation to install it... maybe someday when i'll have a bigger hdd

I used Gentoox for all my Linux needs for about a year or so, untill XDSL came out.
I have figured out how to do almost everything with XDSL that I DID with GentooX, except, download large files (damn ramdisk), and run WINEX.

I couldnt believe how fast XDSL was, its faster than most Windows PC's!!!

the only limits I see for this OS, are 3rd party support, and RAM limitations!

 These people should be paid.
buy a CD!

I have used Xebian and Gentoox and both run extremely slow. I wanted to try xDsl or sXb but i couldn't get them to run for some reason. So now I'm trying to port Ubuntu since it's my favorite Linux Distro...

Oh, and Master Reefed, of course linux on an xbox is faster than any Windows pc, windows compleely whores system resources such as RAM and our CPU, and it has a shitty kernel..

I use Gentoox and with my 128mb it's really nice. It's about 2500mb and it works like a dream.
