finally after much hair pulling and having to reflash with a bios to limit F drive to 137 gigs , formatting and redoing my F drive. and using the RIGHT keyboard gentoo is up and running!! yup the right keyboard ggrr damn goofy keyboards lol
pretty cool i like it although windows would be nicer lol. now im ready to go for the extra 64megs of ram on the board lol.
just got a few questions i think if you gents have a few moments
1)
i have the infamous black bars around the screen on my tv 27'' toshiba xbox 1.0
i changed the setting from 13 on HOC and VOC to 10 ad the screen went to hell, i got like a triple overlay of the screen. so. here it is.
The right side of the screen is perfect. the left top and bottom need to be about 8
the console window when linux is loading is almost perfect, he top and bottom need a little adjustment but the left and right are perfect. why 
?how can i adjust it so that the left, top and bottom of the screen are more correct
i actually need to shift the screen to the left a few bits,, then stretch the screen horizontally and vertically to about 10 or 11 12 would be ok i guess. how can i move the screen to center ??
2)
at 800x600 the fonts are all blurry. the great program TVTool used to have a flicker fix for this and other things, does Gentoo have any type of a setting to makes the fonts more clear ?
