I had the same problems as you. The way I did it was do this.

1. Setup partition scheme as F:\ (137GB) + rest to G:\. This retains some sort of LBA28 compatibility with Linux. It's a pain but the best way I know of as of yet.

2. Install Gentoox to E:\, F:\ doesn't work.

3. Update VIA magic (all updates, some 2 hours plus).

5. Run magic F drive, leave it to transfer files (takes about 30 minutes).

Then you will notice everything has moved to F:\. Just don't use the install thing, some reason I never could get that to work.
