Hello, I just bought an installation sevice online for the smartx lt opx (because i ruin 2 xbox by trying to install myself). When i got it back, and turn it on, it only show the original bios and 3 empty bank. I read some tutorial online and i flashed the Smart OS beta build 3408 and everything seem fine but nothing has change since the original interface. So, does it mean it is already flashed and ready to install Evolution X??

(i researched for 2 weeks and got nothing)

Please tell me what to do next, thank you!

If your seeing the SmartXX OS all the time then it's fine, like rockrerun said you need to flash a bios. If you tell us what version your Xbox is we can tell you what bios to use

In that case, you will need a 1.6 specific bios.  the v1.6 is special, and it gets its own special bios.  most popular bios will have two versions when you download them.  the one that you need should have 16 following the filename.  for example:  evox.m8plus.16.bin, or x2.5035.v16plus.bin

the smartxx version of ftp is called "ED on the chip."  you can download it from thier website HERE.  after you download it, you just flash it to your chip like you would a bios (2048k bank).  after that, you just boot to ed@chip and you can ftp without ever loading a dash.

I got it working with M8plus bios and run very smooth with EVox. But i can't reflash the BIos through Evolution X though. It saids, "Flash is not rewrittable". Not a big problem, i can still get to Evox and do what i wanted to do. THank a lot!
