X2vga 800x600 & Debian 1.0.2 Screen Problem

I use Xbox 1.1 Conexant and X2VGA, Install Debian 1.0.2.
640x480 is normal, but it's not enough for WWW pages,
so I modify /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
and change the 640x480 into 800x600,
the screen really become 800x600,
but the right side screen have a dark vertical area ( about 1/5 screen size )

Is there anyone have ths same problem ?
I use a common 17" CRT monitor.

BTW, I f I use 1.4 Xbox ( Focus chip ),
after I change into 800x600, the screen become totally dark.
It means Debian 1.0.2 still not support 800x600 X2VGA on Focus chip ?
or there is some method to solve it ?
