Debian On F, Rather Than E
« on: May 04, 2004, 11:04:00 AM »

Hey whats up fellas. I know if I install linux onto the F drive I will lose my stuff, and thats not a problem.

Since there is only like approx 5 gigs I can use on the E, would I be better off installing linux onto the F? My F is MUCH larger. What I was wondering is if I install Debian to F, will I be able to use the remaining space of F for other applications, or does linux change the F partition in a way that wont allow me to use the rest of the unused memory.

I just dont want to use up everything that I have on the E. If I decide to install games I wouldnt want to run out of room. If I want to be installing linux games, I would think I would want to designate more than a 2 gig image file.

Thanks for your time!
