Is there any way to convert a ps/2 keyboard to usb?

I'm cheap and I don't want to buy a new KB

its a ps/2 to usb converter and its not a rare product radioshack must indefinetly have some..but im not sure how that plug would fly over on the xbox..

yes but does the keyboard work with it coz i thort it world have to be usb coz of the driver the program uses

It does work. I used a Nexxtech USB to P/S2 adapter and spliced the part after the black box and then i cut a controller extension cable and spliced them two together and it works like a charm.

I have one of those kinda adapters and they work

mine is a ps/2 mouse and keyboard and i can tell u they work
