hi if some one can help me it owuld be nice
i have a pre-2.0 dashboard not sure what version i have
but i got one be 2.0 and when i install linux (install linux file)
it installs but when i click the linux (its there instead of xbox live)
an it says my xbox needs to b fixed

i have a version (i dont knwo what version) of a dash from before 2.0
i downlaoded my bros C drive an over wrote my 2.0 so now i got uh...1.somthing on there
and it lets me install linux but it dont let me open it
help?

Here it goes.
I have installed Linux on my xbox, my xbox is not version 2.0.
But after i install it, it says my xbox needs repair. But it does install it, So when i click Linux on my dashboard it says my xbox needs repair.

maybe ur still running the Gamesave exploit with the linux installed try loading Pheonix bios loader

if u have a modchip then everything should work rite without Pheonix Bios Loader if not load PBL from the game save and make sure u have a copy of the XBOX Dash or any other dash in C: named EVOXDASH.XBE then load the Linux from the dash

well...im not sure exactly what u want me to do...
what i did is i backed up my entire drive C: befor, so then i installed the PBL gamesave and then open it up, text flew and then poof the evox dash poped up. so i hit run DVD or w.e Luanch DVD. after mech assualt loaded i hit installl linux and it installed reboooted and hit linux on the dash board an still no go....i dont understand what ur tellen me about the C: and evoxdash

just deal with me like im ur cousin that doesnt know how to use a mouse

What distro are you running? If you are running gentoox, make sure that it is installed to the root of E:, not E:crapmore crapLinux. Unless you did some fancy-shmancy thing with stardust.

I don't know nothing about Ed's Debian, and I don't care to find out.
