Replacing Dead Hard Drive

I've done a search but only found topics on how to replace a working Hard Drive.  

My X-box drive is broken with error code 7 and I have no back up.  I do have a new hard drive to replace it with and a mod chip to install - xEcuter 2.3 Lite  Could anyone point me to a tutorial on how to do this?
