I have installed 5 Smartxx v2 chips, but always used 120gb drives.  A friend of mine wants me to help him install a Smartxx v2 chip, but put a 300bg drive in it.  I don't care if it 1 partition or 2, I just want it to work flawlessly.   I have read about evtools and other things, but that all seems to be dated material.  Will the current HD Utility built in the v2 chip handle the formatting of the 300gb drive into f and g or is there anything special I have to do.

Xbox Version = 1.1
HD = WD30000JBRTL 300gb drive
Modchip = Smart XX V2
Launcher = XBMC

I never got the smartxx os to format a drive right (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) But what I'd do is flash a bank with a .67 bios and format the partitions through FTP
