hmm.. wouldn't be easier just to take your pc and setup up a proxy and setup xbox to go through the proxy?

i don't have a computer in my room. i choose to spend the $400+ on my xbox instead of buying a pc so i need a way to use the xbox as a stand alone 56k computer

i can't tell you where i saw it .. but i know their was a Program in Gentoox Home Edition where you set up Modem config for connecting to web ... so look around for it .  I stumbled across it a month back when I was experimenting with all the Linux programs on the HOME edition.
