I have installed gentooxx no probs but when it boots up it doesnt find my connection.
I am on a usb cable modem and can ftp to and from the box (in evox) no probs, so is there some setting that i have missed?
I have read the tutorials on shallax's site but i'm still unclear about this.

I have a usb modem plugged to one of the usb ports on my pc, the xbox is connected to my pc via a crossover cable to a network card, there are no other bits of equipment involved. Is it that i need further equipment?
My broadband supplier is pipex

No I havn't got ICS, I will look into that and try it.
So do you think the setup i have is wrong then?
