Smartxx Os Not Booting

Hello,
I have just completed the "quick solder" install with and xbox v1.0 and smartxx v2. When I boot the xbox using either the eject button or power button, I get he ms dash instead of the smartxx OS.  The blue and red leds on the chip are constantly on, so I think it is installed right.  any Ideas?

When you power on with the power button does the eject button go red for a split second? If it does press the eject button when it's red.

FallsInc is probably right. The lights are supposed to alternately flash, not be on constantly. Check your solder points, particularly the d0.

And did you solder those two small pads together on the chip? The site says you need to do that for quicksolder.

Ok, I will try to resauder the d0.  What is the best method of doing this? do I stick the wire inside the d0 hole and sauder?  And If I get it suadered right the blue and red leds will blink?
