I have mine set to:

/etc/xbv/xbv -NTSC -auto 640 480 10.00 10.00

The overscan is fine, but it's still pretty fuzzy. When I change to:

/etc/xbv/xbv -NTSC -auto 800 600 10.00 10.00

I get really bad distortion at the bottom of the screen? Anyone else have it working well?

BTW if it makes any difference I have a 32" Philips Smart Plus Series TV.

I am have ing the same prob. The screen seems 2 be a little off. like the writeing is off the sceen and the writeing is too big. If you have a fix let me know. i tryed 800 600 but all i got is a messed up screen. so i had to reinstall gen2x

The writing off the sides of the screen is called overscan. Run magic and this will fix it. I meant tweaking to make the resolution clearer.
