how to get gnome running under gentoox home
first turn on your xbox load gentoox and
after you have emerged gnome use putty to ssh as root then type
pico -w ~/.xinitrc
edit the file to this:"
/usr/bin/X11/xvkbd -geometry 640x130-0-75 &
exec gnome-session"
then on your xbox logout of kde if your logged in
on your putty client type startx
you then log in to root under gnome! . if you login as gentoox when you first start the xbox
it will still load kde
i havent got the virtual keyboard to work under gnome
