Bad luck with the mouse still?

One more thing....
Did you do this after installing x-windows:

copy the XF86Config-4.fbonly AND rename it back to XF86Config-4

It was in one of the old posts..

*bumpity bump*

Still gots the same prob.. pointer works buttons dont, tried all sorts of stuff in my XF86Config-4 file, did a cat dev/usbmouse , get output on the trackball but nothing on the buttons.

help?
