Are you running EvolutionX?
Have you customized your menu.ini/evox.ini?
If not, then is your Linux boot directory in E:\apps,
with the xbe named 'default.xbe' ?

CDs have been quite flaky on the XBox. Mine booted some.
Another would boot none of my boot CDs. Have you tried
copying ALL the Linux boot disk files to the HD?
To be sure, what Linux version and installation method did
you choose?
