Launching .xbe File/game Loads Blurred Screen?

the games will load up just fine. i just see 3x images all stacked around eachother when i launch the .xbe

 after further playing around in my defualt dash (XBMC) i find that mk7 does play when i disable 1080i and leave 480p & 720p enabled. as for Tetris worlds. im clueless. it will play off my bundled xboxlive disc but not a downloaded standalone version. my v1.1 xbox never did this? weird!
