Unleashx Boots, Yet Unsure If Softmod Is Stable

1. NKP11 is on E , not C.
2. C is empty because shadow C is enabled.
3. Do you have a source of stock msdash 5960 files? CASH disc, HeXen disc etc.
4. Since you are working from a replacement hdd, you have eeprom backup. You could always rebuild the new hdd from Frosty/lxhdm 's ftp acccess.

The problems lie in your real C. Cold-boot Frosty's to fix real C - you'll need stock msdash files.

Definitely not - if you do that you'll overwrite the softmod. You need to replace the missing files, but don't modify or overwrite anything that's already there.

QUOTE
What will copying ms-dash files, to a C: that's generally invisible in the default file-explorer, do anyway?
NO it's other way around, the MS dash files on the shadowC are the ones used in UnleashX

if the C:\ is zero bytes you will need to format it (the shadowC) first

if it boots fine (using power or eject) then don't mess with the real C
