Build Your Own Hack?
« on: January 26, 2010, 02:19:00 AM »

Ive recently picked up two xbox's due to being robbed and loosing my old ones sad.gif

I've softmodded one with ndure and hate it, it has some weird delay boot up screen after the x has come up, everything seems slugish and theres no option were to choose to have the dash

Ive no need for the old dash at all as I have live on the x360.

Anyhow

----

Back in the day wink.gif you could create your own fonts/boot up sequence were you could tell it to boot up a dash in a certain place, is this still possible? if so, whats the tutorial on it? I cant find anything since the ndure quick n easy software took over smile.gif

Did you use Krazie's Ndure 1.1.1? It is the best softmod exploit out there.

As far as having the Xbox boot from where you want, a softmod won't allow you to do that and in my opinion, isn't necessary. As long as the Xbox boots, I don't care where it reads from.

For your purposes, you will need to flash the TSOP or put in a mod chip. Then you can get rid of the flubber screen and put your dashboard wherever you like.

As for quickly switching dashboards, most people use XBMC now.

you can change the dashboard from E:\dash or E\dashboard
