Ok softmodded my xbox last weekend. All went well. Tried to set XBMC as default dash (IDIOT) and it messed up. I was getting error 21. So I thought I'd use AID v4.40 to rebuild, that didn't work, so I thought I would format the drive and reinstall the softmod, that didn't work, used Slayers 2.7 to format this time and restored hdd to factory default, I then used the AID DVD again but now when it boots I get either error 13 or 14 depending on whether I have a CD/DVD in the DVD Drive. This xbox was for the kids bedroom to watch movies etc. I have a complete backup that I did AFTER the softmod, I have EEPROM, MS Dash etc but I can't get anything to boot off the DVD Drive, it goes straight to error 13 or 14. I do have a chipped xbox of my own and was wondering if I could put the hdd from the softmod xbox in there to put the MS dash back on and then do the softmod again? If so how?
