Error 11 relates to the DVD. Have a look at the error codes here, if you haven't already - all seems to point to incorrect cabling, or bent pins etc.

Error code 7 is hdd timeout - hardly surprising if the hdd data cable is disconnected!

Nothing in your description makes it look like the disc is unlocked.

Fix the DVD cabling, then try this tutorial - the thread contains lots of Q and A about problems. Also have a look at this post about pausing the computer during boot to get it to recognise the hard drive.

ok so i just read what error 5 means ... and i guess it sounds like your right ... ...  but then any idea why i would still be having my prblem ??
