my chip doesnt have the little metal prongs like in the lower right of the pic

version 2 has the prongs also. but mine is a v1 because it has the DIP switches

not all of them came with the prongs.. doesn't really make a difference, either solder the wire to the d0 spot there or solder down some prongs yourself if you really want them.
