I think I'm screwed again. I tried making a disc with the new C drive, but I don't know if it was from the lock or not, but the drive isn't being recognized by the boot disk. The bios sees it's connected, Windows even acknowledged it's connected, but no matter what I try I can't access it. I tried within Windows from a different machine, Windows shows it loads it, but it never shows up in the device manager to wipe. When I plug it into Primary Master as the only hard drive and boot from the xboxhdm cd, no matter which option I pick, 1,3, or 4, it doesn't recognize a hard drive on primary master to unlock or install on. The drive is definitely spinning and like I said the bios id's it, but something is just hosed so it can't be read. I tried it on a Linux box, and I think it showed up as a SCSI device, although I know nothing about how to use Linux, yesterday was my first day installing it, so I take that for a grain of salt. Any ideas on how I can even get to the point to test my new boot disk. I also tried with the new and old disc that worked fine yesterday. I'm willing to go with terminal commands, but I don't know where to begin to use terminal, although I am familiar with DOS.
