Softmod Overtop Of Corrupt Softmod Cleanly?

Strictly speaking, with hotswapping, you don't need eeprom.bin to unlock the hdd. But of course eeprom is preferred as a means of unlocking over hotswapping. Since hotswapping is an art and can brick the hdd if done wrongly.

Anyway, you'll need a source of clean msdash files , preferably ver 5960. You'll get those from CASH 1.1 disc or Slayer's 2.7. This is the preferred means to start a Ndure install.

Kingroach Ndure 3.1 will also create the softmod files for installation but that will be for a basic setup (without dual-boot capability). The pinned tutorial should cover the detailed steps you'll need.

xboxhdm has the rebuild C drive menu function. You can also use xbrowser ( a command in xboxhdm) to delete folders/files on C and E drives if you wish for a clean start.

You might even just hotswap and rename back the xboxdash.xbe with xbrowser to regain back your old softmod (whichever that was).
