is the Ndure from Krayzie's or Kingroach's? nkpatcher has an option to force progressive which is done either through Krayzie's Extras or VIDEO.BIn for Kingroach's. You might want to try that first.

Are the NTSC/PAL setting changes via Enigma persistent across reboots? The virtual eeprom feature may also be affecting results.

I used Kingroach's ndure, and I think I enabled progressive when building it.  Progressive works in unleashx, xbmc, and on some HDD games (including THPS4 which is in 720p).  The NTSC/PAL settings appear to be saving across reboots (I have eeprom_off.bin).

There are also some games which fail to start (FIFA2005 springs to mind).  I don't know if this is related or not.

Xbox.com lists THPS4 as a game which supports 720p but not for THPS3. FIFA Soccer 2005 however supports 720p.

1. You are saying cold-booting the game disc leads to scrambled output.
2. Launching from msdash leads to 480p working output. nkpatcher is running as you launched from unleashX.
3. Your component cables are from the ms hd av pack?

You may need xman954's expertise to solve this.

1. No, cold booting works fine.
2. Unleashx followed by msdash, followed by dvd works.  Launching from anything other than msdash doesn't work.  I've tried various combos of ntsc/pal/60hz/non-hd modes in unleashx to no avail.
3. It's a knock-off hd pack, never had any problems in the past though, including on my other mod-chipped box.

Edit:  Just been playing it a bit (on dvd from msdash of course), and it's just crashed on starting Rio Ruckus with the demoness.  May or may not be related.
