Hi,

what is the size of your xbox harddisk?
Does it has an F and a G partition or just an F?
How did you create the partitions?

It is possible that one of the partitions is getting corrupt.
The Unleashx dashboard is looking for games and applications on startup, and maybe it hangs in that process. This just can not explain why it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.

You could perhaps temporary alter the search folders unleashx is using to see if that solves the issue.

1. The elusive FATX bug that rmenhal spoke about? seekr didn't mentioned Ndure was via gamesave exploit or xboxhdm.

You can try cold-booting from a boot disc like Frosty's Xbox Rescue Disc which is hex-edited to run from dvd and try launching the dash or game or app, one at a time, to see if you can isolate the problem.

try evox dash to see if the situation improves. Copy evox dash to E:\dash folder (first rename dash folder to dash2 then create a dash folder and copy evox there)..

I've been living with this problem for a while now.  I'm beginning to think it may be temp related.  I have the most trouble with the system hanging after the XBOX has been on for a long time or after a program has failed to load properly.
