You seem to know what your doing since at least you figured out most on your own by searching. Props for that.
I guess you have one of the few xboxes having a hard time loading the fonts. If your kernel is really 5101 then set that font.
Then add 1 s.xtf file and try again. If it doesn't work add another one and continue this procedure till 7 s.xtfs

If it then still doesn't work either your kernel isn't 5101, your xbox is modded by a modchip or TSOP or it is the first xbox in the world reported unmodable by the ndure exploit. Then you could try my UXE installer.

If you can load apps you can edit the eeprom to make it a pal machine.

try this:
Put evoxdashboard on C: named as evoxdash.xbe and see if it loads after a reboot.
If not try renaming it xboxdash.xbe (after renaming current xboxdash.xbe to xboxdash.bak) and see if it loads.
If so your xbox is allready modded and you don't need a softmod

That mod chip is useless since it only allows multi-region games and nothing else. I dont care much for the games i want a media centre setup.

It worked!!!! i put evodash.xbe on it and it loads to Evox, now the problem i get limited options such as:

Ms Dashboard
Reboot
Power Off
Settings
Backup

now how do i go about getting all the apps and XBMC installed, im a bit confused since i didnt go about this thru the traditional method.

Its ok people turns out my legendary bro had already mod chipped the xbox, and me being a fool spent 2 days melting my brain on softmodding it. Got everything running on it no problem, you can install everything thru ftp.
