Can't Play Out Of Region Dvd's With Softmodded Xbox

Well, my xbox is softmodded, but I can't get any DVD's to play unless I go to the Microsoft Dashboard, and then they won't play unless they're NTSC.  

When I select "Play Game/Media from DVD" from the Evox dashboard, it says please wait but then just resets to the evox dashboard main menu again.  Never plays the DVD.

Do I need some specific software to play a DVD from the Evox dashboard?  I'm in Thailand and unfortunetly all the movies are PAL.

Also, can't get my SNES Emulator to play games.  The emulator boots, but when I select the game it won't load.

Hi,

your best option to play DVD's is the XBMC package. It is a fully functional mediacenter.

Google for XBMC +T3CH to find the latest build.

I can't help you with your Snes problem. If it was made by xport, you might take a look at his forum topics.
