'Softmod Installer Deluxe' is a notoriously bad program, I'd suggest (highly) that you switch to Krayzie's Ndure or Kingroach's installer. Mostly because SID is so flakey that I wouldn't even touch that thing with a 10 foot pole.

I would expect the dashboard to be under the E drive with a softmod. It could be under C for some reason.
