Try the xbplorer360. It should be able to read from a fatx formatted disk in windows.

I'm a little confused by this sentence.  Do you have files on the floppy or not?  You should have 4 or 5 files on that floppy -- one of them eeprom.bin.  If you have that file build a new xboxHDM disc with your eeprom.bin in the ..\eeprom directory and choose the "lock hdd" option when you boot it.  It will find the eeprom.bin on the CD and use it to re-lock the hdd.

thanks for the program obcd just what i need. now i got my backups and my hdd lock.

no im using the xbox hdd but i think it (xbox) forgot to lock it. anyways thank you for your time you two.
