The ndure 3.1 is the newest ndure version for xboxhdm. If you read the pinned topics here, you will find more information about it. You might use it instead of the 3.0 version.

Asking about how to play game backups is piracy.
You might get banned from this forum because of that.
In that case, you won't receive anymore answers at all....

I am not saying I wanted to pirate games. My son is 7 and is VERY irresponsible with his games. I am always yelling at him that he needs to take better care of his games or I wont buy anymore.........

As far as my previous post, I cant edit it even if I want now that there is a response.

I did get things working right. I was just so frustrated cause I didnt know which steps to follow since they all seem to refer to each other but with different methods.

Following that tutorial I mentioned worked flawlessly. My problem was that I had a newer version of the application so the sceenshots werent matching so I was scared to try.

The truth is, my son isnt even going to understand what a soft mod is and what it does or even how to use it. But I know that I'll feel a bit better if I have his games on a shelf but yet he can still play them. This way I am not yelling at him. It really pissed me off one day I walked into his room and heard a pop. It was an Xbox game that was slid under his rug. I wasnt happy and of course, the game was ruined.....

Hi,

glad to hear you figured it out.

At his age, you might take special precautions with some of the dashboard options. He wouldn't be the first one that wipes out important files on the c partition. Most modern dashboards like unleashx have the option to protect items like the file explorer with a password.

You might also disconnect it from the internet so that he can't experiment with the xbox live options.

Thanx for the suggestion. I saw the place to passwrd protect options but wasnt sure what I was password protecting. Now that I know , I'll set it up. I can see my son thinking he knows what to do and messing it up. He is a bit too smart for his own good as he figures things out but I want this Xbox to stay working....

Thanx again.

Also, I do not understand why my original thread posted twice but it did. I was wondering my comment disapeared and then realized there are 2 of the same thread with different comments....Sory bout that.
