once i get to the main screen where you choose vga or text etc. i get problems.

text: stalls and says attempted kill init!

VGA: goes through setup and then goes to black screen and does nothing.

im using xboxhdm with evox 1.9 files

okay i cant get it passed the strait to black phase, i had to change my pci irg to reserved on all ports. so now i can get passed that in VGA. but now it stalls after:

ide: Assuming 33Mhz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with ide=xx

what does this mean and what do i have to do?

ok. yea i went and used an older oc and it was doing fine until finally, while creating the f partition of the drive (160 GB) it just went completely haywire and everything turned to WINGDINGS.

needless to say the drive didnt work in the system. so im guessing the drive was messed up ne ways.

Hi,

leave the F partition. Your softmod only needs C and E. You can format the F on the xbox after you reinstalled the disk in it. You can Ftp the stuff over to it.
