Troubles With Xhdm
« Reply #15 on: December 22, 2007, 12:25:00 PM »

if the xbox has modchip then it will work.. if its a softmod then you need to lock it with that xbox's eeprom.. If you having trouble locking you can also type this command in xboxhdm option "3":

lockhd -p " the password that you backed up"

first unlock the drive and plug it in xbvox.. if its giving error 5 then you know the drive is unlocked..

Troubles With Xhdm
« Reply #16 on: December 23, 2007, 04:12:00 PM »

I managed to get it going with chimp, I did have some problems with an error 9, but after a clean clone of the stock drive and setting the new drive from slave to cable select after the clone made it work.

Thanks for your replies, I've learned a lot
