01. Back up your eeprom as a fail safe. Your eeprom is a physical chip on your xbox's mother board that stores information such as the hdd locking info. Making a software backup gives you an out if anything should go wrong. As long as you have your eeprom safely backup up onto your PC you should be able to fix your xbox, no mater how bad you mess up it up. Use a program such a evox to back up your eeprom.bin and transfer it to a safe place, like your PC. Do not skip this step.

02. Create a "New Folder" on your Desktop

03.Copy your clean unpatched C folder to desktop\New Folder

04. Install ndure-3.1 to desktop\New Folder with core files and kernel version selected.

(your C drive files are now patched.)

05. (step 5 only applies to you if you previously have ndure installed.) Launch E:\ndts\default.xbe this will disable the shadow C and give you access to the real C drive.

06. FTP to your xbox and delete all of your files in C and E (if you have a E:\backup, don't delete the backup folder and it's contents)

07. Transfer over C + E from desktop\New Folder to C + E of your xbox

08. Verify you have the proper files in your xbox C drive and then reboot.

09. FTP to your xbox and take a look at C. It should be empty, if not reboot again and refresh your FTP client. What's being displayed is not your real C drive, It's the shadow C.

[No need to show a picture here, it would just show the xbox's C drive with nothing in it]

Copy your clean unpatched C drive files to the xbox's C. Do NOT use the patched ones from desktop\New Folder\C

10. reboot once more.

11. done!
