Installing New Xbox Hd
« on: October 23, 2007, 07:18:00 PM »

Xboxhdm is a PC bootdisk. You need to put you eeprom on that disk, off of your backup. Unlock your original harddrive place both harddrives in your PC and clone the original to your new one, format the F: partition with xboxhdm, lock your new hdd (and original, just in case, if you want). And then you place it in your xbox and then you're good to go!

When I put new hd in my xbox...it loaded orignal MS dashboard
because you did not disable the shadowC before you FTPed the C:\ files to your PC
(the shadowC is just stock MS dash files)

disable by running NDTS (NDURE tool set from the 3.1 installer) or a gamesave
