1. Copy the contents of SID.Splinter.Cell.v2.0.XS Filter - Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents ** to your memory device. Also copy
Splinter.Cell.v2.0.NTSC.XS Filter - Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents ** or Splinter.Cell.v2.0.PAL.XS Filter - Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents ** as it's needed too.
The best ways are to use a modded Xbox to do it (by unzipping the file and copying the
contents to E:\) and then transfering to your memory card, or use a Mega X-Key or
Action Replay to dump the ZIP files on to.

Do i take the hd out of the xbox and plug it in to the computer? or use a lan cable from the xbox to the computer?  if so then what i have cuteFtp so would i then use that.

sorry if this question sound so basic and easy to you guys but its so hard trying to find any instructions on here amongst a shed load of topics and posts.

and help would be great thanks  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Softmod Installing... Trouble

Hi,

after the softmod, you can connect your xbox to your pc with a crossover network cable. You need a dashboard with ftp to do that. The original M$dash doesn't has that functionality.

if you are attempting to do a softmod with a gamesave exploit, you will need a original exploitable game disk. you will also need a way to get that gamesave on your xbox harddisk. That's what they use a memory card and action replay for.
If you have a already modded xbox, you can use that one to store the gamesave on the xbox memory card.

The hotswap method is a different way to softmod a xbox. You can easily damage something with a hotswap.

Don't mix different softmod tutorials. Choose (a recent) one and stick to it. Don't start with it before you fully understand it. Make a list of all the soft and hardware that is needed and see if you have it all.

regards.
