Hello everyone. I just bought a 320 gb Western digital hard drive. I followed Kingroaches XBHDM for dummies. Everything went fine on the pc. THen when i plug the HD into my xbox and power it on. Error 6. I have used config magic to backup my eeprom.bin. And it is in my linux>eeprom folder. i Got slayers CD and copied the c,e, and f hard drives and put them in the linux folder. I made a new hard drive from scratch. It worked. I then rebooted my pc and went to the locking/unlocking tools. And locked the drive using lockhd -a. This worked. I then took the hard drive out of the pc and put it in the xbox. Powered on the xbox and i got error 6.
XBOX is Verion 1.0 could that have anything to do with it? Because i also have a version 1.6 box i could try it on.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
