put any file in the root of E:\ named shadowC_off.bin then reboot
or run the NDTS "tool set"
or load the gamesave from a cold boot then FTP
Thanks Xman - Ill give it a shot. The part Im confused about is that the shadowc.img file didnt complete when I transfered it. I know ive read that you cant remove the shadowc.img file if its in use (ie, the softmod is working) but I didnt even make it that far. Here is a list of what I did exactly:
1. Downloaded Ndure 3.0 from xbins
2. Ran Ndure on my pc
3. Selected the options from Ndure's readme - step 2 and ran it. It created the files for the mod.
4. Loaded up Evox via the MA gamesave
5. Ftp'd into the xbox and backed up everything to my PC
6. FTP'd over the files in the order that were listed in the Ndure readme
7. Noticed that the shadowc.img file got to about 180mb transfered and then stopped.
8. Thought to myself - WTF - everything else was transferring fine.
9. Read more posts of this site and googled to see whats up. Didnt find much.
10. Deleted all of the files that I just copied over so that I could be back to a stock xbox
11. Noticed that I cant delete the shadowc.img file
12. Posted here..
So my question is - if this file can only be deleted when not in use, how on earth did an .img file actually become active when its only a partial image file and the rest of the soft mod files are not on the xbox and the xbox wasnt rebooted once during the entire process mentioned above.
Any ideas??
