thanks Xombe for your answer, but yes I have tried that already, I meant is it possible to unlock the harddrive without the eeprom.bin with just the 2 codes, if so is there a special way of doing it I must have entered the code a dozen times without success.

Xombe noticed in your sig. your living in Japan I gather, is importing a modchip illegal?

you can make your own eeprom using live info. you need to insert your own hdkey. another pc app is called hdunlock which needs the pass to unlock.
